Workshop Description

In this workshop, we are cooking up a feast!

To start, we are making mushroom and barley soup. Rich mushroom broth with chunks of mushroom, vegetables and barley, this soup can be served as part of a meal or a meal by itself!

We are also roasting a beer-can chicken! The chicken is juicy and very tasty – the beer keeps it totally moist! (NOTE: You can opt for non-alcoholic beer – please make your request in the NOTES section when signing up.)

And finally for dessert, we are making mini hazelnut chocolate tarts! Crunchy hazelnuts and rich decadent dark chocolate – this is a truly sublime combination!

This is a meal you can re-create for your family and friends for any occasion. Let me show you how you can put this together with minimal effort for maximum results! (NOTE: We are using ready-made tart shells.)

What you will learn:

How to cook mushroom and barley soup
How to marinate chicken
How to perfectly roast a chicken using the beer-can method
How to make chocolate hazelnut filling
How to finish the tarts

2 servings of mushroom and barley soup
1 whole roast chicken
6 servings chocolate hazelnut tarts

Participants are to bring their own pen and clipboard for the class if they wish to take notes. Participants may be asked to share workspace depending on recipe.

The maximum class size is 12. Classes will start with a minimum of 8 participants. Fees paid are non-refundable, and if a participant is absent for a workshop, no make-ups will be conducted. Fees paid cannot be transferred to another workshop.

In the event that the minimum number of participants is not met, the class will be cancelled. Participants will be informed via email and all monies paid will be refunded.

Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis. Full payment must be made at the point of registration.
Videography is not allowed for this workshop.

The Domestic Goddess Wannabe reserves the copyrights of any videos and photography taken in class for future promotional purposes, without any prior notice.

You can opt for non-alcoholic beer. All ingredients are otherwise halal.
